TOUCH LAB – The Choreographic Lab of Oniin Dance Company was created to translate the bodily language of the Company. It is a contemporary concept developed over many years by Oniin’s choreographers
– Daniela Rapisarda and Alessandro Vacca –
through their work in Italy, New York, and Asia.The “touch” of TOUCH LAB, effective like an identifiable and recognizable imprint, aims to highlight the singular qualities of each dancer. This includes apparent imperfections, which can be transformed into strengths and points of excellence. Every part of the body will be stimulated in a new way to seek renewed flexibility and to reconnect with the innermost essence within us, liberate it, and become aware of it. In this way, one acquires a creative, mature, and above all unique movement quality, much like a fingerprint.
The intensive lab unfolds in six sessions, each lasting 3 hours, during which the basic concepts of the choreographic style codified by Oniin’s choreographers will be explored.

The LAB is divided into two editions:
• WINTER EDITION (October – January)
• SPRING EDITION (March – June)
It culminates with a final performance that summarizes the choreographic work carried out.
